Come take a tour around the world with our 3 day Culinary Camp Participants will learn the basics of food safety and sanitation before embarking on a Tasty global journey. Students will learn how to make French crepes, Japanese sushi rolls, and traditional mezze from Greece. The classes will consist of a brief history of the dish to be prepared followed by chef demonstration. The students will take that knowledge learned and work in groups to recreate the dishes. Participants will need to wear long pants and closed toed shoes daily. T Shirts and bandanas will be provided.

Built in 1972 with five programs, the Career Center has undergone extensive remodeling and additions to become one of the largest secondary career and technical centers in Arkansas. The Career Center draws its 600-plus student enrollment from 11 area high schools in Pope, Yell and Johnson counties, including Russellville, Dover, Pottsville, Hector, Atkins, Dardanelle, Danville, Two Rivers, Western Yell County, Lamar and Clarksville high schools.
